A beautiful countryside setting, ideal riverside location and a stunning quality home made The Hamptons the perfect choice for downsizers Lesley and Allan Brockbank.
Former teacher Lesley and chauffeur Allan, both 61, purchased a four bedroom detached house at The Hamptons, Evesham.
The couple previously lived in a five-bedroom property 30 miles away in Solihull, but decided it was time to escape from the big city and escape to the country.
Lesley said: “We are absolutely thrilled with our new home and it is exactly what we always wanted.
“We chose Evesham mainly because of the Bloor Homes’ development. We fell in love with the layout of the house, the new build quality and the brightness of the property.
“We weren’t particular about the location initially but this place is so desirable and picturesque. It is close to several National Trust properties which are on our radar to visit, and our dog Gonzo loves going on long walks and exploring the area.
“The location of the development is just fantastic with the country park right on our doorstep. We are right next to the river and close to the M5, which is so handy if we wish to visit Worcester.
Lesley and Allan are also regular visitors to the nearby Hampton Farm shop, which is their favourite place for buying local produce.
The farm shop, which includes a small café with outdoor seating, moved into new premises provided as part of the development being built by Bloor and Bellway Homes.
Lesley added: “The shop is really good and we are lucky to have it right on our doorstep. We are regular customers there and like to treat ourselves with a delicious breakfast in the morning.”
The Brockbanks were extremely satisfied with the service they received from Bloor Homes and the couple is certain they made the right choice.
Lesley added: “The whole buying process went without a hitch. I kept thinking it was too good to be true bearing the experience we had with our old house.
“My husband described the process as easy as buying a car. We just cannot speak highly enough of Bloor and the service they provided.”
