Construction is now beginning to get underway at our new development in Worcester.
We're excited to announce that work is now underway on our new Worcester development that will deliver 175 new homes and a large area of accessible public open space for Worcester.
Located off Oak View Way to the west of the city, The Grove at Worcester will offer a wonderful variety of two, three and four bedroom homes inclusive of two bedroom apartments from our new traditionally inspired 2019 range of housetypes.
Nick Rawlings, Regional Planning Director for Bloor Homes Western, said: “We are delighted to begin construction at our new development, The Grove, in Worcester. We are currently working on provision of the associated infrastructure for the site, which includes extending Oak View Way into the site from Bromyard Road.
“More than half of the development will form public open space, the majority of which will be to the south, and will include the two existing ponds as well as a large grassed area for informal recreation. A children’s play area will be located to the north of the site.
“The Grove will feature a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes from our new 2019 range, which was launched by Bloor Homes earlier this year, and uses attractive, traditionally inspired architecture to blend in seamlessly with the surroundings. A total of 40% of the homes will be provided as affordable housing for rent or shared ownership.
“With its location on the outskirts of Worcester and with good communication links into the city and nearby towns and cities including Hereford, Cheltenham and Gloucester, the development will be attractive for a variety of house hunters, from first-time buyers and downsizers to growing families.
“The first homes will be launched in the late summer/early autumn of this year and we anticipate strong demand from the local community.”
