For Peter Grinnall and his wife Rachel, The Hamptons development in Evesham is proving the perfect place to call home.
The couple have exchanged their two bedroom home at the development, which they bought earlier last year, for a new three bedroom home, which is providing all the entertaining space the pair and their dog, Bentley, require.
Peter explains: “We had an older style, four-bedroom property and were looking to downsize and move to a new build property that would be easy to manage and require less maintenance.
“Having grown up in Hampton, my wife was very familiar with the area and we knew it was a great location, with good local amenities within walking distance and in easy reach of Evesham itself.
“We were impressed with The Hamptons development from our very first visit. Homes here are set apart and don’t feel at all crammed in, which is often the case with new houses. There is even a country park right on the doorstep, which is ideal for enjoying long walks with Bentley.
“We initially bought a two bedroom home at The Hamptons, which we really liked, but wanted a bit more entertaining space, so when the new three bedroom homes were launched, we jumped at the chance to upsize.
“We spoke to the Bloor Homes Sales Team about part exchanging our two bedroom house for a three-bedroom property and they were so helpful. The whole process was extremely quick and hassle-free, cutting out the time and stress of being in a lengthy house chain, something we were keen to avoid after our previous experience of moving home.
“Bloor Homes provided a fair valuation for our two bedroom home and the build team kept us well informed throughout on the progress of our new home, sending us photos of the kitchen and bathrooms as they were finished.
“We have been really impressed with the finish of both of our Bloor Homes. We have had very few snagging issues and those we have had were dealt with very quickly, with the customer service team keeping us updated throughout.
“Our new home is a three bedroom detached house type, which has a lovely spacious open-plan kitchen/dining area with French doors out onto the garden. We do a fair bit of entertaining and this really is the perfect space; you can be busy in the kitchen preparing dinner but still able to socialise with family and friends.
“There is also a warm and inviting lounge for relaxing and unwinding and upstairs are three spacious double bedrooms, with the master benefiting from fitted wardrobes and an en suite.
“Outside, the house has a garage and large garden, which is just perfect for Bentley.”
