Local pupil's Harry Potter themed bedroom brought to life in our showhome
Hill View Primary School brings a touch of magic with our interior design competition.
The pupils at Hill View Primary School were asked to come up with eye-catching designs for a children’s bedroom at Bloor’s new Banbury Rise development off Stratford Road.
The winning entry was submitted by Chloe Payne, 11 years old, who will get the thrill of seeing her Harry Potter-themed design brought to life in the showhome at the development.
Chloe was presented with a mood board of her winning design and a £30 Voucher by Bloor Homes sales manager Emma Bromham during an assembly at the school.
Chloe’s design contains a variety of images from the Harry Potter films, including the Hogwarts Express, the brick wall at King’s Cross station, wizard hats, broomsticks, and the Golden Snitch.
The mood board was put together by Claude Hooper Interiors, who will now get to work on recreating Chloe’s vision inside the Banbury Rise showhome.
Claire Ferens, head teacher at Hill View Primary School, said: “The competition was a fantastic opportunity for the children to show their creativity and they thoroughly enjoyed working on their designs.
“We are grateful to Bloor Homes for inviting our pupils to take part and I know Chloe can’t wait to see her design being reproduced in the new showhome.”
Emma Bromham, Sales Manager for Bloor Homes Western, said: “We were very impressed with the quality and creativity of the pupils’ designs, and we would like to thank them for taking part in the competition with such enthusiasm.
“Judging the entries was an extremely difficult task, but in the end, the magic of Chloe’s Harry Potter-inspired design made it a worthy winner.”
