Kingston Park fits the bill for upsizers Sue and Andrew
More space and a shorter commute were top of the wish list for one Oxfordshire couple when they embarked on a search for their ideal new home.
Sue and Andrew Bellamy toured the county looking for the perfect property after deciding to relocate from their two-bedroom end-terraced property in Upper Heyford near Bicester.
And they found it at Bloor Homes’ Kingston Park development in the village of Kingston Bagpuize, six miles west of Abingdon.
Not only did the development offer an attractive village location closer to Sue and Andrew’s respective places of work, but the couple were also hugely impressed by the layout and presentation of the site, not to mention the spacious interiors of the homes’ themselves.
Sue and Andrew purchased a three-bedroom detached Chisbury house-type, which features an open plan kitchen/dining area with French doors leading to the rear garden.
Sue said: “We started looking for a new home because we wanted a slightly bigger footprint and we were keen to find somewhere closer to work, and Kingston Park just fitted the bill. We looked at developments in other locations, but nothing really compared to Kingston Park.
“The development is very attractive, there is a lot of space, the landscaping has been cleverly planned and it just feels so welcoming.”
“We really liked the layout and design of the house, everything has been carefully thought through and the rooms just flow into one another. The French doors really allow you to enjoy the property as a whole – you can bring the outside in and take the indoors out. The room sizes are just fantastic and when it came to moving-in day, we were surprised by just how much space we actually had.”
The couple used Bloor’s Part Exchange scheme to purchase their new home, meaning they didn’t have to worry about finding a buyer for their old property, and Sue said the process could not have gone more smoothly.
She added: “The process was effortless and very quick, I can honestly say we enjoyed it. The sales advisors were highly accomplished, always delivered on their promises, have been friendly and helpful before, during and after we bought the property.”
