Bloor Homes sponsorship for Oxford City FC Women’s player
With the 2020/2021 football season underway, Bloor Homes is delighted to announce its sponsorship of Oxford City FC player, Lauren Froud.
The eighteen-year old from Southmoor, who has just been picked to play for Oxford City Football Club, has been sponsored by Bloor Homes Southern, who is currently building the Kingston Park development, off Witney Road in Kingston Bagpuize.
Lauren said: “I am hugely grateful that Bloor Homes Southern has chosen to sponsor me for my upcoming season at Oxford City FC. “I have always wanted to play for a local team and when I was looking to move to a higher level of football, Oxford City looked like the right team for me. Playing for them is a dream come true and I am so thankful that Bloor Homes are supporting me.”
Lauren is a midfielder and made her league debut in Oxford City’s recent game against Winchester on 11th October. She joins Oxford City from Wantage Town, a team she had been playing for since the age of eight. Lauren and the team train at Oxford City’s Marsh Lane ground in Oxford twice a week. Lucy Ludlow, Regional Sales Director at Bloor Homes Southern, said: “We are very proud to be supporting Lauren on this important next step of her footballing career at Oxford City FC.
“As a responsible housebuilder, we are always looking to work with the communities and people where we build our new homes. “When we found out about Lauren joining the club, we were keen to help out. We wish her the best of luck for the upcoming season and look forward to watching her progress.”
