Bloor Homes’ quality shines through for Alan and Sara
When Alan and Sara Cosh first started looking at move home, a new build homes hadn’t crossed their mind, but that changed when they discovered Bloor Homes’ development in Amesbury.
Alan, 39, and Sara Cosh, 36, found their ideal family four-bedroom detached home at the national housebuilder’s Kings Gate development, off Penny Lane.
With their two children, Ella, 12, and Leilani, 6, growing up and space becoming a premium, Alan and Sara were eager to upsize from their previous home, just a mile down the road.
The pair, who both work in a private hospital in Salisbury, initially started searching for second-hand properties in the area to refurbish but didn’t find much value for their money.
It wasn’t until the pair made an off-the-cuff visit to Bloor Homes’ Kings Gate development, off Penny Lane in Amesbury exactly what they were looking for.
And the couple were so impressed with the development that they put their deposit down three days later.
Alan said: “Like most home-buyers, floor space and location were very important for us. Sara and I are both from nearby Salisbury and both our children are both settled down in school, so we didn’t want to leave the area.
“None of the second-hand homes took our fancy and it wasn’t until we drove past the signs for Kings Gate – after viewing another home - that we decided to check out the development.
“It turned out to be a good decision and, after a constructive chat with the sales team, we found a spacious home being built in a quiet corner of the development – it was just perfect for us.
“From there, everything fell into place as a buyer came in for our home and we were able to put down a deposit three days later.”
The pair purchased their home off-plan and had the opportunity to choose their own flooring and tiles.
Alan said: “Buying off-plan gave us the opportunity to make our new house feel more unique immediately, something which would have taken a lot of time had we bought a second-hand property.
“Our new home offers us plenty of space to grow as a family and with some nice green space surrounding our house, we can spend the summer months relaxing outside.
“We’re all settling down really well here and look forward to what the future brings us here.”
Bloor Homes is set to release the newest phase of homes at Kings Gate in July, which will extend the development to 477 properties.
