Daniel explains: “With a growing family, we were really keen to move to a larger property. We were interested in the location as we wanted to remain close to Bristol but move ourselves out towards the countryside.
“We had been on the look-out for a new home for a while. Kasia was pregnant with twins and our old property wasn’t big enough for a family of five. We purchased a four-bedroom Malham house-type, which was perfect for our family.
“Our previous house was built in the 1960’s so there was always quite a lot of work to do. With a very young family, life is busy enough, so we were really happy to move to a brand- new home that is much lower maintenance, meaning we can enjoy our free time together as a family. Being a new build, the house has been built using modern building practices and materials, which means a more energy efficient home and lower monthly bills too!
“Aside from the beautiful finishes, the size and the layout of our new home is perfect for family life. There’s a nice community feel at the development and our children will be able to play outside, which is fantastic.
“Aside from being in the countryside and enjoying that fresh country air, we are now only a 20-minute drive from Bristol to Bath.
“We used the Part Exchange scheme to help us fund our purchase. We used the scheme as we wanted to move quickly and conveniently between our old and new house. We didn’t want to have any problems with selling our house privately and causing any delays to the move.
