Celebrating success for Ampthill Chase Site Manager
Bloor Homes South Midlands is delighted to announce that Jason Oakley, site manager at its Ampthill Chase development, has been announced as the winner of the LABC Central Site Manager of the Year Awards 2018.
The awards were designed to celebrate the dedication and commitment it takes to deliver quality sites, rewarding the best site managers for their exceptional contribution to construction.
Demonstrating exceptional site management and workmanship, this prestigious accolade positions site managers as being the best in the industry.
On collecting the award Jason said: “I feel very proud to have received such a prestigious award – it is a real honour to have my efforts recognised at such a high level. A site manager is only ever as good as the team he manages, and I would therefore like to thank all of the team at Ampthill Chase for their hard work and support day-in day-out.”
Jason will now go on to represent the Central region in the LABC Grand Finals on 9 November 2018, where the National Site Manager of the Year is crowned.
Richard Sarraff, managing director for Bloor Homes South Midlands commented: “These awards reward site managers who are well organised and have a good attention to detail, display excellence in technical compliance and the management of site issues and who demonstrate the very best leadership skills, creating a fair and inclusive culture on site.
“Jason undoubtedly demonstrates all of these attributes and we are delighted that his outstanding contribution to the business and to developing quality homes across the Midlands has been recognised at the highest level.”
Mike Swatton, LABC Warranty Business Development Director and Head Judge added: The standard of qualifiers across the board has been exceptional, once again raising the bar for construction standards
