The Elms proves the perfect place for Nigel's fresh start
From the moment he set foot inside the Chastleton house at Bloor Homes’ The Elms development in Uppingham, Nigel Stephens knew this was the right house for him.
Following the death of his parents, Nigel, felt it was time to move on and begin a new chapter in his life.
Keen to relocate closer to his place of work in Uppingham, he viewed around 30 properties in the area, both second hand and new build, before falling in love with the three-bedroom Chastleton house at The Elms.
Nigel, who had been a carer for his parents, said: “I did like the idea of being able to move in to a house that was finished and being able to enjoy my life, rather than spending all my spare time on renovations and repairs. That’s why I decided to look at The Elms development.”
Having previously lived in a four-bedroom detached property, Nigel was looking for a new home that was similarly spacious.
“When I visited The Elms, I went into was shown around the Chastleton house and I just knew instantly that it was the one for me. I was impressed with the build quality and it felt comfortable. I liked the layout, spread over three floors and the fabulous open-plan kitchen/dining area and stylish living room.
“My favourite part of the house is my master bedroom, which occupies the whole of the top floor and includes a superb dressing area and en suite shower room. It feels just like a boutique hotel.”
As well as buying his new home, Nigel has also recently made another major purchase with a Bloor Homes connection in the shape of a Triumph Street Triple R, the motorcycle manufacturer being owned by the housebuilder’s founder John Bloor.
Nigel added: “The team at Bloor Homes has been excellent from start to finish.
