Bloor's Home Exchange scheme was key for upsizing couple

Bianca, 27, and Gareth, 38, who previously lived just a mile away, have purchased a four-bedroom house at Oakley Meadow, Warwickshire.
The couple didn’t initially expect to be able to upgrade to a bigger and better home, but when they visited the Bloor Homes’ Oakley Meadow development, they learnt about the Home Exchange scheme. 
Gareth said: “We are delighted with our purchase. The location is extremely convenient for both of us, especially with the easy access to the M40 motorway. My work means that I sometimes have to travel to other offices, which are all positioned around the M40, so we couldn’t have asked for a better location.
“What attracted us initially to Oakley Meadow was the intimate village feel, which is close to the town amenities and the local school nearby.”
Bianca said: “The selling point for us was definitely the open plan family living. We were completely taken by the spacious kitchen/dinner which is connected to the lounge, it just gives a sense of intimacy.”
“We really like having a separate utility room, it is such a great feature that makes a huge difference to our comfort. The integral garage is another impressive benefit to the house that we are so pleased to have.”
Gareth added: “Initially we came to see the development with the intenntion of seeing what was being built for next year. We have previously noticed that most new builds have a single driveway and we didn’t want to compromise on this, so our plan was to look for a pre-owned home. 
“However, after our trip to Oakley Meadow we were pleasantly surprised to see that our prefered home benefits from a double driveway that was suitable for our needs.”
To make the buying process as easy as possible, Bianca and Gareth took advantage of Bloor’s Home Exchange Scheme.

“The scheme definitely took the stress out of having to sell our old property in order to secure our new dream home, because we didn’t want to miss out on this plot.
