Smooth move: First purchasers officially launch Stowmarket showhomes
The first purchasers at 'Bloor Homes at Stowmarket', Emma and Stephen Johnson, have officially launched the new showhomes at the new development of 146 two, three and four bedroom homes within walking distance of the town centre.
The couple were invited as special guests to cut the ribbon on the new Hulford and Hawkins showhomes, as they had already purchased their new four bedroom Plomer ahead of the launch, and officially moved in at the weekend (8th July).
Despite having an existing home to sell, Emma and Stephen, who only started looking for a new home in mid-April, found and purchased the new home at Stowmarket after visiting the showhomes at Bloor Homes’ nearby Trinity Meadows development in Stowupland. They fell in love with the quality, size and style of Bloor Homes’ properties there, and when they visited the new development at Stowmarket, they fell in love with the location and plot there too.
Emma explains: “Having already done the typical trawling through Rightmove and comparison sites we started looking in earnest in April 2023 and spent a whole day looking at various new build developments to gauge price, availability, and location.
“We had visited a few different developments before we viewed the showhomes at Bloor Homes’ Trinity Meadows development. They immediately had the wow factor! After that, no other home we looked at compared – either the bedrooms weren’t as big, they lacked the high-quality specification Bloor Homes offers, or the location wasn’t quite right.”
Emma and Stephen were also pleased to discover Bloor Homes offered a Part Exchange scheme, which not only guaranteed them the new home and plot on the development they’d set their hearts on, but it also immediately took care of the need to sell their existing home in Great Blakenham.
Emma explained: “We decided to explore Bloor Homes’ Part Exchange offer which worked perfectly for us, removing heaps of the usual stress when buying/selling a house. In May we viewed the plot at Stowmarket and decided it was the right decision for us. The process was all very quick and we were very well looked after by the wonderful sales team - we got the keys at the end of June! It was the smoothest move ever - Part Exchange really helped with that and removed all of the stress and worry. Bloor Homes really have exceeded our expectations.”
She added: “It’s our dream home – from the build quality and spec to having much more space - it felt like home, instantly. There are so many little elements that make me smile every day; I still get excited about the way the sunlight falls through into the kitchen. The location is fantastic, the town centre is within walking distance, yet it feels like we live in the countryside. There’s a lovely place for brunch nearby and close access to the A14 and train station means it’s so easy to get to London. We still have lots of exploring of the nearby areas to do, but we’re happy with what we’ve discovered so far.”
