BrizeFest Takes Flight
Brizefest 2022 takes flight with sponsorship from Bloor Homes
This year’s BrizeFest Families Day at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire on September 2-3 soared, in part thanks to a donation by Bloor Homes supporting the event for a second year.
Described by the festival organisers as ‘an important event for the Station as it’s a way of thanking everyone for their support and commitment to RAF Brize Norton’, Brizefest welcomes service personnel and their friends and families for a weekend of fun and relaxation.
This year, in addition to aircraft displays, a fun fair, live bands and an array of delicious food and drink, visitors were treated to an additional night of Friday Night Proms.
Steve Roberts, Managing Director at Bloor Homes’ Western region said: “This is the second year we have supported Brizefest and it really was another fantastic event. It’s great to be a part of such a great occasion supporting RAF service personnel and their families.”
Bloor Homes joined other sponsors to support the event, including The Royal Air Forces Association, Rolls Royce, Thales, Babcock, Lockhead Martin, Airbus, Boeing, Marshall, Bourton Road Butchers, and Atlantic Aviation Group.
Bloor Homes’ Brize Meadow development close to RAF Brize Norton is providing two, three and four bedroom homes and has committed £12m to build new facilities including a new primary school and leisure centre.
