Bloor Homes Swindon Head Office sponsors local girls football team in the South West
Bloor Homes is sponsoring FC Abbey Meads Under 13s Girls football team with a full playing kit and equipment for the current season.
With the developer’s regional head office close by in Swindon, Bloor Homes has donated an array of kit and new footballs to the Girls Under 13s team at FC Abbey Meads. The 9-aside team plays in the North Wiltshire Youth Football League and is looking to gain on their second-place spot from last season with their new kit and support from Bloor Homes and the local community.
FC Abbey Meads train and compete across Swindon, one location in Chippenham nearby to Bloor Homes’ new development of three and four bedroom homes at Hilltop Park.
Kim Benson, Sales Director for Bloor Homes’ South West region is eager to support women’s sport through donating to the local girls team. She said: “With a number of teams located in our operating area, we are excited to get behind them and support the important growth of women’s football, following the rising popularity of the WSL and the England Lionesses. Bloor Homes is eager to promote this sport through sponsorship and help to break the barriers local clubs may face when funding the girls’ teams in our communities.”
