Bloor Homes marks return to Berewood with donation to Coronation event

Bloor Homes’ Southern region has celebrated returning to Berewood in Waterlooville with a donation to Newlands Community Group supporting its celebratory Coronation picnic and fete at Berewood Town Park, and further events that are to be held throughout the year.

Newlands Community Group put on a great event on the Coronation weekend with games stalls, old school sports day events such as the egg and spoon race, an events arena, and even a British Bake-off competition.

Lucy Reynolds, Sales Director at Bloor Homes’ Southern region said: “Having built at Berewood in 2015 we are delighted to be back in the community, and when Newlands Community Group approached us for support there was no hesitation. It’s great to see the community thriving in Waterlooville and we’re really glad to be part of it again.”

Paulette Benett, Chair of Newlands Community Group said: “Newlands Community Group would like to thank Bloor homes for their support. Their community donation helped to allow us to celebrate the King's Coronation with a great Picnic in the Park attended by hundreds of residents and friends.”

Bloor Homes is also celebrating returning to the area with Mayor of Winchester, Cllr Angela Clear, officially launching the new showhomes at its new Woodlands Edge development at a VIP event on Friday 12th May.
