Bloor Homes highlights apartments at Blythe Valley as Zoopla report increase in demand
Bloor Homes is expecting demand to increase for its apartments at Blythe Valley development, following a report by property site Zoopla showed 27% of new buyers are looking for 1 and 2 bedroom apartments as “buyers becoming more value-conscious.”
Michele Rose, Sales Director at Bloor Homes’ Midlands region said, “People are looking closely at their options, so it’s no surprise there is more interest in apartments. When it comes to affordability, they are very much an option for first time buyers, or those looking to move from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom home, whether a young family or those seeking an investment.”
Zoopla’s report* stated that “for early buyers in 2023, it’s all about apartments” attributing this to buyers looking at affordability. It also states: “As the outlook becomes clearer after Easter, we believe that demand is likely to pick up further.”
Michele adds: “All this points to apartments becoming more popular in coming months. Our brand-new apartments at Blythe Valley don’t just deliver on kerb appeal – they are a smart move for savvy, energy conscious purchasers too.
“Unlike second hand properties they are far more energy efficient than older apartments, and with regulations tightening on Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings of all homes, they already meet the required standards.”
There are just four apartments remaining at Blythe Valley – all with two bedrooms. Three are on the first floor with the final of the four located on the second floor.
