Regional Construction Award Takes Ben to Final in January
Site Manager for Bloor Homes has been announced as the West of England Regional Winner for Best Residential Site Manager.
Ben Yates, a Site Manager for Bloor Homes’ South West region has been announced as the West of England Regional Winner for Best Residential Site Manager at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Business Excellence Awards 2022.
Ben is one of 18 regional winners and will represent Bloor Homes at LABC’s final of the Building Excellence 2022 Awards ceremony in London on January 27th 2023.
The Awards celebrate outstanding projects and individual contributions in the construction industry with a focus on the very best in technical innovation and construction quality, helping to raise the level of construction quality across England and Wales.

A highlight in the construction industry’s calendar, the LABC Awards for Excellence cover 22 categories. The criteria for Best Residential Site Manager looks to award those who ‘have stood out by going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure an outstanding working relationship with the Local Authority Building Control team and demonstrates commitment to excellent homes.’
Ben has 19 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a Site Manger for Bloor Homes’ South West region for three and a half years. He said, “It’s a real accolade to have the work we are doing at Bloor Homes recognised on the regional and national stage, and while this Award has been given for the Site Manager of the year, it feels like an award for the whole team at Hilltop Park for their excellent work.”
