Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School summer fete and Christmas bazaar
Housebuilder Bloor Homes has donated funds to Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School in Halstead to help fund its summer fete and Christmas bazaar.
Bloor Homes, which is building the Oakwood Hill development in Halstead, provided a £150 John Lewis voucher for the raffle at the school’s summer fete, along with a £500 cash donation to help fund the annual Christmas bazaar.
Jen Vincent, Chair of the PTFA at Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, said: “We are so grateful to Bloor Homes for its extremely generous donation to our summer fete and Christmas bazaar.
“As well as being immensely popular events in the school year, the summer fete and Christmas bazaar are vital for our school fundraising, with monies raised helping to facilitate the everyday experiences of all the children at the school.
“As a PTFA, we are committed to raising funds to help the school finance extras, such as educational visits, playground equipment, books for classrooms, musical instruments etc. Bloor Homes’ donation means our fundraising has got off to a wonderful start.”
The summer fete took place on Friday 28th June and included a bottle tombola, fun inflatables, live music, a raffle, t-shirt painting, food vans, a Pimm’s tent and much more.
The Christmas bazaar will be held in early December.
