Bloor Homes Site Manager Wins Prestigious Award for Melton Development
National housebuilder Bloor Homes is celebrating after one of its Site Managers has been recognised with prestigious industry LABC Building Excellence Awards.
For a second year in a row Mike Friend has won Site Manager of the Year for East of England for his outstanding work at Bloor Homes’ developments.
Last year saw Mike awarded for his work at Bloor’s Thurmans Grove development in Trimley St Mary, Suffolk. His impressive hard-work and expertise has seen him win the the award for Bloor Homes’ development Longwood Fields in Melton, near Woodbridge in Suffolk.
A representative from the LABC presented Mike with his award on site this week.
The awards celebrate the outstanding contribution of Site Managers who have a vision for quality and who go that extra mile to deliver the highest standards in construction.
Mike will be attending the LABC Grand Finals on November 8th at the Westminster Park Plaza in London, to compete for a National Building Excellence title.
Mike said: “It is a great feeling to be recognised for your hard work and dedication in making customers happy through the quality of service you provide, so I am delighted to have won this prestigious LABC Building Excellence Award.
“It is a huge honour, and to win it for the second year running on a different Bloor Homes development is great. I am absolutely thrilled.”
