Matthew, 37, was already familiar with the area and the development, from living close by and has been very impressed with his new home.
Matthew explains: “I was looking to move to a new and smaller house, and the location of Kingswood Heath is perfect for me. My daughters’ school is only at the end of the road and I’ve literally moved five minutes from my old house.
“The value of the house was fantastic. The size and layout and the extra ceiling height were also a real selling point for me. With my daughter staying with me two nights a week it was also important for me to find a house with a large garden and large bedrooms, and a separate kitchen and living space.
“The house also has parking next to the house, which was a must due to having an electric car!”
Matthew bought a three-bedroom, semi-detached Studland home and picked up the keys at the beginning of July.
He said: “As soon as I walked into the Studland house, I knew it was just perfect for me. The house has lots of storage, which is rare for a new build. It is within a minutes’ drive to the A12 without being able to hear it from my home. The house is also close to the local shops and supermarkets, without having to drive into Colchester town centre.
“I love that I was able to choose the kitchen and the flooring I wanted. I also can’t wait for the new park and cycle path around the development to be completed!”
Matthew continued: “The sales team were excellent, they gave me a weekly update and got back to me straight away with any queries that I had.
