What made you choose a Drake home, and what stood out to you most during your search?
We chose the drake because we love the size of both double bedrooms as well as the big kitchen! What stood out the most was the separate utility area, we love having that space.
What’s your favourite thing about living in a Drake?
Our favourite thing about our drake is the light we get in the lounge! The sun beams through the huge window in the lounge all afternoon!
Was it easy to make the space feel like “you”?
So easy! My partner and I aren’t the most handy and knowing we didn’t have to do anything when we moved in was a dream! We have easily painted the walls and added panelling to some of the rooms which was so easy and made it super cosy! We were also able to choose the colour of our kitchen which was amazing, as I love green kitchens!
Have you done anything creative with storage or décor you'd like to share?
Hmm we haven’t had any crazy storage ideas, however using the Ikea pax wardrobes allowed us to make the most of the space in the bedroom!
If someone asked, “Should I buy a Drake?” how would you answer?
Absolutely! It’s the perfect first home, and so easy to make your own. Our home is so cosy and we love it here! I love having a patio space in the back and making my little garden colourful!
