Getting to and from Tewkesbury

Situated just a mile and a half from the M5, our new homes in Tewkesbury benefit from a straightforward route to Gloucester Airport (19 minutes away) and Worcester (25 minutes away).

There’s a train station a 10-minute drive away – Ashchurch. From Ashchurch, you can catch regular services to cities like Bristol and Birmingham, as well as to Worcester. 

There’s also a bus stop 7 minutes’ walk away, which operates services to the likes of Gloucester, Northway, Milton, and Priors Park.

Things to do in Tewkesbury

At Tewkesbury Meadow, you’ll benefit from having a park – Jenny’s Field – only 5 minutes’ walk away. Featuring a play park too, Jenny’s Field is a godsend for those with young children. 

There’s also Michael Wood Park, a 7-minute walk away, and Wheatpieces Central Park, 11 minutes’ walk away.

Living in Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury is a rural town surrounded by farms and fields, with plenty of scenic walking trails right by our development.  

Situated between the Malvern Hills National Landscape and the Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty, there are a couple of fishing ponds within minutes of our development – Tirley Court Pete’s Lake and Stanboro Cottage – as well as a golf course - Sherdons Golf Centre - a 6-minute drive away. 

Tewkesbury itself is a town with a rich cultural scene, and you’ll have every chance to immerse yourself in it, with Roses Theatre being a 6-minute drive away and the Tewkesbury Museum being even closer. 

Tewkesbury is also famous for its Medieval Festival, the largest free reenactment fayre in Europe. The festival is themed around the Battle of Tewkesbury and features jugglers, dancers, jesters, and musicians.
