Jayne discusses the community, her new home and buying with Bloor.

Transcript:

My name's Jane Mayfield and I live in a Jemmat at home on the new Hollycroft estate.

I moved to Hollycroft Grange cause I wanted to live close to my daughter. I chose the Gem because it evoked the images of the townhouses in Bath and I quite fancied the look of the house.

I would say that I love the downstairs. The kitchen is so bright. I find that it's also very economical because of the good insulation. I found that my bills have really dropped since living here.

In my spare time, I like to do reading. I also do embroidery. I like to watch the television in the wintertime and I love gardening. The garden was a completely blank canvas when I moved in, and I've added my own little bit of interest to it.

I've got two little dogs and I walk them regularly. We go to the country park which is literally 5 minutes away. The local area there's so much that's good for families. They've just built a new primary school across the road. We also have a very conveniently a new co-op and you can walk into the town centre.

I've got lovely neighbours and the people that moved in making it a community. I chose Bloor because they have a very good reputation for being a good builder. The sales team kept me in check all the while with weekly phone calls giving me a progress report of how things were going with solicitors and how the build was going. So, it was really easy. I'd certainly recommend Bloor as a builder and the whole experience of buying and moving into the home was so easy.
