William and Georgie discuss relocating their family to the country, village life and the eco benefits of their new build home at Bloor Homes at Shrivenham.

We've been married for 13 years now. Um, we bought up two children in our North Swindon place. Decided that we wanted to move a bit more to the countryside um to more of a village. So, we ended up in Shrivenham.

We just love our new home, don't we?

It's just so special and so perfect for us as a family. The build quality has been really good and even the standard fittings that come with the house like the doors and things, we get compliments.

The insulation is so much better in a new build. Also, with the solar panels and the EV charger for the car and all those sorts of things, just bring your utility bills right down. I think it's what's fantastic about it is you've got the village where you can go and do anything you want. You can go to the pub, you can go to a restaurant, you can go to a shop, and then within half a mile you're in the countryside. So you can go for walks, you can ride your bike, you can take the dog for a walk, the kids can run around, but you've also got all the amenities you need from living say in a big town.

The children love the play parks as well, don't they? But they feel really safe just to be on their bikes and ride around. I think our message to someone thinking about buying a BL home is do it.

Go in and have a look at them and have a chat with the sales team. I think they sell themselves with the quality and whatever you think about them really.

They just there's no question really. I think this is our forever home now. I can't see us moving in a hurry.
