Claire and Jeffrey talk about the customer service, solar panels and their location.

We were thinking of moving and we've been looking at new builds particularly having been in a in an older house.

We've been looking at the showhouse actually since October last year. I think what particularly appealed to me was the fact that it was going to be low maintenance as we were retiring and obviously buying something brand new had a big appeal to us really.

The team were really good to us when we started looking, from the moment we started looking to be honest. We were very impressed with the way we were dealt with. We saw the reviews for Bloor Homes which you know, five stars on Trust Pilot etc. And I have to say we weren't disappointed. We really did have very very good service from start to finish.

Very much like the Brooke particularly the lounge and our lounge actually is probably our favourite room. It's incredibly relaxing, isn't it?

Yeah, it's just everybody says it's a lovely vibe in there. You know, we've looked at a lot of new houses and I say new houses, modern houses and a couple of new houses and certainly around this area. This knocked spots off the other the other new builds most definitely, didn't it?

We looked at one or two other new builds, but there were one or two others who didn't even go inside to be honest. No, it's just a pleasure getting up in the morning and so we really enjoy particularly enjoyed the garden taking full advantage of that. We've been pleased to have the solar panels as well which is something we haven't previously enjoyed.

The location is superb. We're both walkers. We love walking and if we need anything in town, we never unless we were getting loads of shopping, we always walk. It's just so peaceful here and they're very attractive looking houses.

They really are. We feel very proud when we pull up. Jeff looks very superior, doesn't he? And it does, you know, compared to a lot of the others, as I said, we've looked at. And the cat's ever so happy.

Oh, that's a very… He's very spoiled [laughter] and he loves it. And the neighbours are absolutely super. Everybody, in fact, our new neighbours are going to be feeding our cat while we go to Sperry next week. So, yeah, they're all very, very nice. I remember that feeling of coming down the stairs, going to make a cup of tea and thinking, "Yeah, this is it. This is lovely. This is our forever home.”
