New housing development in Chippenham receives warm welcome

A new housing development in Chippenham is receiving a warm welcome from prospective purchasers.

Developer Bloor Homes, who is building the Hilltop Park development on Haystack Avenue, reported strong interest from local buyers.

The new development features a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, providing much-needed new housing for local people. The homes have been thoughtfully designed to complement the area, with spacious open-plan layouts and high specification finishes throughout delivering the very best in modern living.

The development will also bring new commercial and employment facilities to this area of Chippenham. As part of its work on the site, the developer is enhancing footpaths and cycleways.

Sara Parker, Regional Sales Director for Bloor Homes South West, said: “We are delighted with the warm reception we are seeing for Hilltop Park and are really looking forward to unveiling the show homes when they open in April and May. Prospective house hunters will then be able to see for themselves and explore in more detail what the homes have to offer. Buyers who reserve here in the early stages of construction can personalise their new kitchens, bathrooms and en suites.

“Chippenham is a fascinating and bustling town with an excellent variety of local and high-street shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as every day services. The development is ideally located on the southern outskirts of the town, with excellent amenities close by. There is a good range of primary and secondary schools close at hand, making this a great location for families.

“The development features large green open spaces for the community to enjoy, including beautiful hilltop landscaped parkland, allotments and play areas. Staying true to its agricultural roots, the street names all take their inspiration from agricultural terms, such as Haystack Avenue.

“There is a wide variety of house types and sizes available, meaning there really is something for everyone, from singles and couples, to families and downsizers.

“The development is also within easy reach of the M4 corridor, making it attractive for commuters travelling to Bath, Bristol and Swindon.”

A superb range of three and four -bedroom homes are currently available at Hilltop Park, starting from £270,950. The homes are available to purchase with Help to Buy.

Sara continues: “Buying a home is a very exciting time, but can be quite a daunting and stressful process, so at Bloor Homes we want to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible. The Help to Buy event will explain more about this Government-backed scheme, which is available to both first-time buyers and existing homeowners, who are perhaps looking to move into a larger property or relocate.”

Help to Buy enables buyers to purchase a property with just a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% of the purchase price is provided as an equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years.
