5 Star Builder

Bloor Homes is celebrating after being awarded five-star builder status in the Home Builders Federation’s (HBF) annual Customer Satisfaction Survey.

This top industry accolade which has seen more than 9 out of 10 of our customers recommend us, is based on homeowner feedback in an independent national new homes survey.  It also comes as Bloor Homes marks its 50th anniversary year.

The HBF Star Rating Scheme is based on the results of an independent survey which is designed to provide home buyers with information about home builders and to encourage excellent levels of service to be delivered by home builders.

Mark Powell, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Bloor Homes commented: “We are thrilled to receive our five-star builder status in what is already a special year for us. We would like to thank the 3,000 customers who have voted to give us this rating.

“We are committed to building high quality homes in desirable locations and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Our attention to detail is the Bloor difference.

“This award recognises the hard work and dedication of our teams across the regions and developments.

“The five-star builder status cements Bloor Homes’ position as one of the country’s top house builders and we are immensely proud of this achievement.”

The HBF Star Rating Scheme awards stars for customer satisfaction based on results from an independent survey of home owners who have bought a new or newly converted home in the previous 12 months survey period.

Stewart Baseley, executive chairman of the Home Builders Federation said: “Getting a positive endorsement from the people who buy and live in the homes they build has to be the number one priority for a successful home builder.

“A five-star rating demonstrates quite clearly that the processes and culture put in place to achieve this are being implemented effectively across the business.  Delivering such high levels of customer satisfaction should provide customers with real confidence in the company and the homes that they build.”

Bloor Homes is the UK’s largest privately-owned housebuilder, employing over 1,200 people across the country. In 2018 it built in excess of 3,200 homes, with even more planned for this year.

Bloor Homes has earned a reputation within the industry and among house buyers for the quality of its developments, building not just homes, but schools, transport infrastructure and public green spaces to be enjoyed for generations to come.
