The first plots at Bloor Homes’ Greenham Gardens development were released for sale back in April, and now all 40 homes for sale have been snapped up by buyers.
The development comprises a range of three and four-bedroom luxury homes, located on the site of the former Greenacre Health & Fitness Club off Green Acre in Pyle Hill.
Construction work is due to be completed in March.
As part of the development, Bloor Homes has contributed more than £275,000 towards local services through a Section 106 agreement with West Berkshire Council.
Contributions included £160,205.97 for education, £71,106.62 for open space and recreational facilities, £27,308.84 for adult social care, £11,182.73 for West Berkshire libraries, and £7,812.27 for the local GP practice.
Kim Willcock, Regional Sales Director at Bloor Homes Southern, said: “We have been delighted, but not at all surprised, by the massive popularity of our Greenham Gardens development.
“The success of this development is due to a combination of factors, not least the high-specification and quality of build which customers have come to expect from Bloor, as well as the attractive and accessible location of the development.
“For the development to completely sell out in under a year is a testament to the hard work from everybody on site. We’re now looking forward to putting the finishing touches to the development and welcoming the final residents in to their new homes.”
Bloor Homes is also building new homes at its Harwood Place development in nearby Woolton Hill.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside on the Berkshire-Hampshire border, the development is a collection of four and five-bedroom properties, with prices currently starting at £700,000.
