Located off Wall Park Road, Berry Head Park is a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes.
Pauline, 68, and Neville, 63, purchased a three-bedroom detached house at the development, after deciding to swap the hustle and bustle of North West London for a new life on the Devon coast.
The couple have up-sized from their one-bedroom semi-detached property in Hayes, and revealed why Brixham was the ideal place for them.
Pauline, who worked for a leasing company before her retirement, said: “We used to come down here a lot to house sit a friend’s dogs when he would go on holiday. The more we came down to the area, the more we felt at home here and the more I wanted to move away from London.
“We were walking the dogs when we saw that Bloor was building a development in Brixham. I thought we had to go for it so I phoned up for more information and everything ran so smoothly we ended up buying the house before we had even seen it.”
Pauline and Neville, a former ground worker, have both been impressed with the quality of their new home and are enjoying the extra space it affords.
Pauline said: “We are really pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the finished house. It was quite an instinctive purchase and I’m delighted we went through with it. All the site managers have been superb and the staff have been particularly friendly.
“It’s been nice getting used to all the extra space we have now – it’s a real luxury.”
A range of three and four-bedroom homes are currently available at Berry Head Park, priced between £312,8950 and £399,950.
