Model students learn the lay of the land with Bloor Homes

Students at Chipping Sodbury School have been taking inspiration from an impressive 3D model of a nearby housing development.
The model has been donated to the school by Bloor Homes, and recreates its Barnhill Gate development off Drovers Way, located just a mile away.
Previously on show at the Barnhill Gate sales office, the model has now been put on display inside the school and is being used to teach students, some of whom live at the development, about issues of responsible building.
Richard Blacker, Business Manager at Chipping Sodbury School, said: “The model has become an interesting talking point in school and has been located in an area where all students have the opportunity to see it. Some are even able to identify their own house.
“From an educational perspective it allows us to raise issues regarding responsible and sustainable building, spatial development and human geography with students. We are very grateful to Bloor Homes for their generous donation of such a well-made and interesting model.”
Jane Briscoe, Regional Sales Manager for Bloor Homes South West, said: “The model of our Barnhill Gate development was a really helpful tool in bringing the development to life for buyers purchasing off plan, and we are delighted that it is now being used by the school to inspire and educate its students.”
There are now just two homes remaining for sale at Barnhill Gate, priced from £354,950. For more information call 01454 838136.
