Keen to assist local house-hunters at all stages of the property ladder, Bloor Homes will pay the stamp duty on select house designs at the development, including the ‘Yoxall’ four bedroom property, which is priced at £350,000 (or £280,000 under Help to Buy) – providing home movers with a huge saving of £10,500.

Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director at Bloor Homes South Midlands, explains: “We undertook this research to understand the aspirations of homeowners in Bedfordshire and while the results show that some people may perceive their aspirational home is out of reach, the reality could be very different.  Living in the ideal home isn’t necessarily about having a massive property, it’s more about having the perfect home that’s in the right location and suits the homeowner’s lifestyle.

“By providing that extra support through our Stamp Duty offer with our Home Exchange scheme, we are committed to making that aspirational move achievable for homeowners. What’s more, not only do we offer the highest quality and inspirational design, we also use the very latest in energy efficient technologies which, as our research shows, is incredibly important for today’s househunter in their ideal home.”
