Family Focus at Eden Park

Giving home movers a helping hand to secure their dream home, the award-winning developer is also offering to pay the stamp duty on select plots within its collection of four bedroom properties when people reserve before the end of January.

Bloor Homes is encouraging families to take a look at its Eden Park development as its recent research conducted with 2,000 UK homeowners revealed that almost 40 per cent  of people look for small, friendly  communities when choosing where they want to settle.

One such couple to find their perfect family home at Eden Park are Sara and Jonathan Laing and their daughter Katherine, who relocated from Bedfordshire to purchase an ‘Arden’ three bedroom detached home.

Sara commented: “As soon as we saw the home we knew it was for us, and when we spoke to the sales team, everything just fell into place. We purchased under the government’s Help to Buy scheme, and the whole process went really smoothly – within just a few weeks our mortgage and Help to Buy paperwork had all been approved.

“We’ve always been drawn to new build properties because you save so much on renovation and DIY costs and new homes are a lovely blank canvas, allowing you to put your own stamp on the property. Because we purchased our home early enough in the build process, we were even able to choose our kitchen and bathroom units and tiling to suit our individual tastes. As we previously lived in an apartment, we’ve never had our own garden before, so it’s great to finally have a private outdoor space to call our own – and it’s lovely for our daughter Katherine to play in, too.”

Vanessa MacNee, Sales Director at Bloor Homes South Midlands, explains: “Eden Park is certainly one of our most attractive developments, benefitting from an idyllic position surrounded by woodlands and countryside. The homes have proved incredibly popular with growing families, and it’s been great to watch a new, inclusive community develop here.

“I’d advise anyone looking for their next move in or around Rugby to pay our sales team at Eden Park a visit, who will be happy to answer any questions about Help to Buy or other incentives available.”

Sara added: “It’s a great time to have purchased in Rugby as there’s a lot of regeneration taking place in the area, bringing a whole host of amenities to our doorstep. A new Debenhams is currently under development just a short drive away, whilst we’re still just moments from the countryside.

“Our new home really is picture perfect, and we’re really enjoying getting to know the area. We’re already making friends with other families at the development – it really feels like we’re building a life here.”

Eden Park offers homeowners the best of both worlds, surrounded by mature open space and woodland, whilst being located just a few minutes from the town centre. The development is also perfect for commuters, with the M6, M1 and M45 motorways easily accessed via the A45, whilst Rugby rail station operates a direct service to Birmingham New Street station and London Euston Station in under an hour.
