With a total value of £20,000, the family owned developer, which operates the nearby Buckton Fields development, is hoping that the sale of the heaters will raise a significant sum for the charity, which plans to use the money to support people in crisis in this country and abroad.

Richard Sarraff, managing director for Bloor Homes South Midlands explains: “At Bloor Homes we are committed to more than simply building quality homes for our customers. We work hard to support the communities in which we build and as a charity which undertakes such valuable work across the UK and abroad, the British Red Cross seemed an ideal partner for us.

“We hope that this donation will go some way to improving the lives of those who need support in this region and further afield.”

Retail field manager for the British Red Cross Toni Starczewski added: “We were delighted when Bloor Homes approached us. The work that we do is reliant on the generosity of the British public and we would like to thank Bloor Homes whole heartedly for selecting us as the recipient of such a significant donation. I feel sure the heaters will prove very popular with our customers and will raise a great amount for our charity.”

Bloor Homes is currently building new homes at developments across the South Midlands region including Buckton Fields in Northampton.

Buckton Fields offers a superb collection of homes starting from £277,500 (£222,000 under Help to Buy), with four bedroom designs from £400,000 (£320,000 under Help to Buy).
