Local Cricket Club Scores Funds From Local House Builder

Bob Floyd, Chairman at Davenham Cricket Club, comments: “Running a sports club can be incredibly expensive, so we’re delighted to receive this contribution from Bloor Homes.  The money will make a big difference to the training of our junior players and it’s fantastic to have a local business on board.
“As The Meadow is located near to the club, many of our members live at the development. We’d love any new residents to come along and join the club!”
Christine Kynaston, Sales Director at Bloor Homes, adds: “As a company, we appreciate that our commitment is not only to build quality homes but also to help create a positive legacy in the communities in which we build. Davenham Cricket Club is a big part of the local community and we are delighted to have been able to help.”
The cricket club is based on Hartford Road in Davenham and has four adult teams and five youth teams. To get involved, visit davenham.play-cricket.com/.
The new homes at The Meadow are ideally located within walking distance to local shops and restaurants, and are just a short drive away from a number of excellent schools boasting Ofsted ‘Good’ ratings. The development is also close to major road networks, with links to the M6 and Manchester Airport via the A556 and the A533.
