Mike Hinchliffe was highly commended at the 2016 North Wales LABC Warranty Awards for his work at Bloor’s Parc Jasmin development, putting him among the top three site managers in the region.
He picked up his award during a gala dinner at the Village Hotel Chester St Davids in Ewloe. The awards celebrate the outstanding contribution of site managers who have a vision for quality and who go that extra mile to deliver the highest standards in construction.
Mike has been site manager at Parc Jasmin ever since construction work began on the development off Chester Road just over two years ago.
During his six years with Bloor he has won a number of awards for his work on various developments in North Wales. The 48-year-old, who lives near Denbigh, said: “It’s always good to be acknowledged for the work that you do, so I’m delighted to have been highly commended in this year’s LABC Warranty Awards.“For me, the most satisfying part of the job is handing over the keys to a customer knowing they are happy with their new house, but it’s also great to be recognised by the industry for your efforts.
“Although it is my name on the certificate, this award really belongs to the fantastic team that I have got alongside me and I’m really proud of what we have all achieved so far at the development.”
Mike Swatton, LABC Warranty Business Development Director and Head Judge, said: “Over the last few years LABC Warranty has seen build standards improve, and we are delighted with the quality of contenders nominated in 2016. “With over 3000 eligible site managers, it is a great achievement to have been selected as one of the regional finalists.
“The standard of qualifiers across the board has been exceptional, once again raising the bar for construction standards”.
