House-hunters can secure their new home in double-quick time

According to the Government, buying or selling a home usually takes two to three months – and sometimes even longer if a chain is involved.

But with Bloor’s 24-hour Home Exchange scheme, purchasers buying the final plot at the Wulfstan Grange development can receive an offer on their existing property within 24 hours of valuations being provided.

Taking part in the scheme means sellers avoid the stress, hassle and often long drawn out process of trying to find a buyer, as well as costly estate agents’ fees, which can amount to between 1.5 and four per cent of the sale price.

It also removes all of the complications of being in a chain, such as the risk of a purchaser changing their mind and putting the seller’s dream move in jeopardy.
What’s more, customers can also receive an early sale bonus if their current home is sold before they move out.

Under the scheme, Bloor selects at least two local estate agents to carry out independent valuations of their customer’s property, aiming to make an offer within 24 hours of receiving the valuations.

If the offer is accepted, customers can reserve their new Bloor home, subject to contract, a satisfactory structural survey and a visit from a Bloor member of staff to view the property.

Bloor will help customers choose a solicitor and provide them with independent financial advice to ensure their purchase goes through swiftly and without a hitch.
The service can be secured with a £750 deposit, which covers increased administrative and survey costs.

Anne Cadman, Bloor Homes’ Regional Sales Manager for the Midlands, said: “Buying a new home is an extremely exciting time, but it can also be a potentially stressful experience, particularly if buyers are in a chain, with all the uncertainty that entails.

“But customers can remove all of the stress from the equation by taking advantage of our 24-hour Home Exchange scheme. Instead of dealing with the hassle of trying to find a buyer and waiting anxiously for deals further along the chain to go through, sellers can focus on the excitement of getting the keys to their new home.

“For just a £750 deposit, the scheme also offers excellent value for money, as it will save customers thousands of pounds in estate agents’ fees. I would encourage anyone interested in securing their dream home with a minimum of hassle to contact us to find out how they could benefit from the scheme.”
