Buyers rush to secure dream home in Ashbourne
Of the 18 high quality homes which are being built at St Oswalds Manor, ten of the four & five bedroom homes were part of the first phase release. Buyers rushed to the pre launch evening, to make sure they got first choice and were able to secure their dream home in Ashbourne.
The evening proved to be a highly successful and well attended event with only 2 plots remaining from the original release. Anne Cadman of Bloor Homes Midlands commented that “several people have been waiting a long time for this development and many were really pleased to be able reserve the plot they wanted. Whilst we knew there were great levels of interest from pre-registration, we didn’t expect anything like what took place at the event, with amount of sales and customers who attended.” One customer had even been waiting since the original planning meetings which he attended and had already marked his own preference.
But that’s not say it was good news for everyone. There were a couple of disappointments initially due to the speed of sales, but St Oswalds Manor’s sales advisors were able to find alternative plots, either through sales release or by early birding later plots, which buyers were more than excited about.
Bloor Homes found that the majority of the interest for St Oswalds Manor has come through from local people who have been waiting with anticipation for the development to open. Many of these local residents had already agreed sales on their existing properties before the event, with a plan to make St Oswalds Manor their new home.
Buyers who had attended the evening felt that the development itself is well designed to be in keeping with the local design vernacular, was small enough to be appropriate to its setting and all the housetypes were of high quality designs.
The exclusive collection of just 18, four and five bedroom homes, which feature well designed and imaginative layouts, provided buyers with the opportunity to secure a truly enviable and highly specified new property. The location of the new development speaks for itself, offering breathtaking views over one of Derby’s finest market towns, Ashbourne.
