The first homes have been released for sale at Bloor Homes’ Spring Park development in Mapperley.
Located at the edge of Gedling Country Park just four miles north of Nottingham, the development is a collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.
The sales office on Spring Lane is now open and several properties have already been snapped up by buyers.
Michele Rose, Regional Sales Director at Bloor Homes Midlands, said: “Spring Park will provide 150 much-needed new homes for the area, and is located in a wonderful location just four miles from Nottingham city centre and with footpath links to Gedling Country Park from the site".
“Interest in the development has been extremely high and a number of plots have already been reserved following the official launch last month. I would therefore encourage potential buyers to get in touch with us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment".
As part of the development in Mapperley, Bloor Homes is making a variety of financial contributions totalling more than £800,000 through a Section 106 agreement with Gedling Borough and Nottinghamshire County Councils.
Contributions include £82,650 for healthcare, £366,560 for education, £5,807 for libraries and £26,000 to provide two new bus stops close to the development.
A further £233,510 will go towards the provision of open space, £78,500 will be spent on providing bus passes and travel vouchers for new residents, and £10,000 will go towards monitoring the travel plan for the development.
