New homes tick every box for buyers at Priory Manor


Research from the Home Builders Federation shows that running costs for a new home in the UK are roughly 50 per cent less than costs associated with running a Victorian house of the same size.

This could mean an annual saving of £440 for a one-bedroom ground floor apartment, or as much as £1,410 for a detached four-bedroom house. 

Add to this the exacting build standards, central heating, double glazing and insulation and it’s clear that new homes can offer better quality all round. The cost of upgrading an old home to new-build specification has been estimated as nearly £45,000 by the HBF.
