Bloor Homes is building 242 homes in total at Kingswood Heath, ranging from one and two-bedroom apartments to three and four bedroom houses.
The first homes have been selling fast at Kingswood Heath and the sales office has been inundated with enquiries since it opened its doors to the public at the end of May. Two show homes are now available to view at the development.
Planning permission for the development was granted in March 2016 by Colchester Borough Council with work getting underway shortly after.
The Kingswood Heath development features plenty of green open space and mature wooded areas. The homes have been designed to sit in harmony with the traditional character of the area, such as the historic water tower and some original buildings which will be tastefully restored.
Conveniently located just minutes from the A12, Kingswood Heath offers the very best of both worlds - benefitting from beautiful parkland surroundings and also well placed to take advantage of the wealth of amenities in the town centre.
The development is perfect for growing families with children, conveniently providing easy access to the existing schools nearby and the brand new Camulos Primary Academy on site.
Monika Hanlon, Regional Sales Director at Bloor Homes Eastern, said: “It is always a great pleasure to welcome the first residents into their homes at a new development, and we are delighted that Kingswood Heath has attracted such high interest.
“Our new homes at Kingswood Heath have completely rejuvenated a brownfield site by delivering those much-needed homes.
“In recent years Colchester has emerged as a national hub for regeneration and the housing market there is booming. So, we are immensely proud to be involved in the creation of a new vibrant community and attractive neighbourhood.”
