Time Is Ticking At Rudgeway Fields

Western - 03/02/2010

There are now just 15 houses still for sale at Bloor Homes’ prestigious Rudgeway Fields development in Walton Cardiff, near Tewkesbury.

Currently, buyers still have a variety of homes to choose from, with a range of two- three- and four-bedroom houses on offer but they will have to hurry. Properties have been selling well at the development since its launch and it is anticipated that all homes will have sold by the summer.

“Sales Advisor, Sally Holt, said: “This has always been an incredibly popular location because buyers have been quick to recognise the fact that our homes offer an exceptionally high build quality while representing real value for money. In addition, they have the added advantage of being in an attractive and convenient location that offers easy access to the M5, with links to Cheltenham, Birmingham and Bristol. Last year, we sold more homes than we were expecting to and so we are now down to our last few properties so if you are interested in purchasing one of our remaining homes, why not come along and see us.”

Richard Bradley is just one of the many people who have already fallen in love with the development. He bought a four-bedroom property last year, with his wife Cathy. Richard said: “The house is perfect for our needs – it’s really spacious, the location is great and the development itself ticked all our boxes. It’s extremely popular with young families so it’ll be great for our son to grow up here, and even has its own playground and community centre. Not only that, we’ve found everyone here to be extremely warm and accommodating and we are thrilled to be part of this lovely new community.”

Prices currently start from £179,950 for a three-bedroom semi-detached with a garage. Buyers who already have a property to sell may be able to take advantage of Bloor’s Part Exchange scheme which has already helped lots of people to move into their dream home. It takes away the worry of selling an existing property and makes the whole moving process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Alternatively, first time buyers could benefit from Bloor’s HomeStart 2 scheme which offers buyers the opportunity to initially pay just 85 per cent of the property price, with the remaining 15 per cent payable at any time within the first ten years. So the remainder could be repaid when the house is sold, when a purchaser’s financial circumstances improve, or simply by remortgaging at the end of the ten year period. This 15 per cent will be calculated at the current market value at the time it is repaid.
