Andrew Marns has been promoted to the position following a successful 19-year career with Bloor Homes, the last 10 of which were as Managing Director of the Eastern region.
His new role will see him take responsibility for the strategic and operational growth of Bloor’s Eastern, Southern and South West regions, whilst the company aims to accelerate and increase its delivery of new homes across the country.
Mr Marns, who joined Bloor Homes in 1997 and has over 25 years of experience in the house-building industry, said his main priorities would be generating growth and creating more opportunities for the business.
He said: “I am extremely pleased to have been offered this influential role with Bloor Homes at what is an incredibly exciting time of growth and change for the company."
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time as managing director of the Eastern region, a period in which the team achieved sustained growth across the business, and I am relishing the challenge of taking on a wider role with the company."
“As a housebuilder, we are extremely proud of our reputation for and commitment to quality and customer care, and part of my role is to ensure we maintain these high standards whilst increasing the delivery of new homes across the division.”
Mr Marns, who lives in Essex, began his career in engineering in private practice and joined Bloor Homes as land manager in 1997, before being promoted to managing director nine years later.
