Professor Robert Adam
Robert's contribution to the classical tradition is internationally acknowledged, as a designer of traditional and progressive classical architecture and as a scholar. His work includes commercial buildings, major private houses, historic building extensions, and master planning where he has pioneered objective coding. Many of Robert's designs have received national and international architectural awards.
He founded the Property Housing Forum in 1995, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, an Elected Brother of the Art Workers' Guild, a Trustee of the Maria Nobrega Foundation, a Director of Design For Homes, an Academician at the Academy of Urbanism, a Senior Fellow of the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment (Heritage) and Chair of the College of Chapters at International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism.

It has been a significant challenge to come up to the standard of one of the most attractive villages in Britain. A combination of complex and tight planning and individual design have come together to create a place with a unique but distinctly local character.
