Bloor Homes Celebrates Notable Industry Win

In a remarkable achievement, Bloor Homes in the North West has announced the site manager of its Saxon Gate development in Crewe has won the prestigious LABC National Site Manager of the Year award. In addition, the Site Manager of its Parc Jasmin development in Broughton was also one of the thirteen finalists.

The LABC Site Manager of the Year awards recognise the achievement of the highest standards in housebuilding, an outstanding contribution and vision for quality in construction.

In September, site managers from across the UK attended the 15 regional LABC Award events where each winner secured a place at the national finals.

Nick Schofield, Site Manager at Bloor Homes’ Saxon Gate development, Crewe was announced as the winner at the LABC Building Excellence Awards Grand Finals, in London earlier this month.

Mike Hinchcliffe, Site Manager of Parc Jasmin, Broughton was one of the 13 finalists.

In this highest of industry accolades, judges were looking for site managers who displayed a range of skills reflecting their on-site management and workmanship, such as, demonstrating planned processes, technical compliance and management of site issues, leadership skills and attention to detail.

Rhys Nicholson, Regional Manager Director of Bloor Homes North West said, "This is a fantastic achievement by Nick and Mike, and reflects their hard work and commitment. We are incredibly proud to have two of our site managers recognised by these prestigious awards, which are testament not only to their skills, but to the dedication of the teams across the region"
