Bloor Homes shows support to Hugglescote Scouts

Bloor Homes’ generous donation has become pivotal in purchasing much needed, new equipment for the children of 1st Hugglescote Robin Hood Scout Group.

Bloor Homes provided £500 to the Leicestershire group, which falls into the Ashby and Coalville District. The Robin Hood Scouts were established in 1923 and are the longest surviving group in the District. 
 
Each Scout group ranges from ages 10 to 14 years and the 1st Hugglescote Scouts welcomes both girls and boys who are interested in learning valuable skills and having great adventures. 
 
Bloor Homes, whose headquarters is located in Measham, is currently building phase two of its popular Oak Tree Gardens development, in Donington le Heath.
 
Adam Ayris, Group Scout Leader at 1st Hugglescote Robin Hood Scouts, said: “We are extremely grateful to Bloor Homes for their generous donation. This has enabled us to purchase new equipment for the new and current Robin Hood members. It simply means that we can now provide a much better experience to the scouts as a whole.
 
“We are very passionate about keeping our team spirit because scouting is a great opportunity for young people to socialise and have a great amount of fun. Our Hugglescote Scout Group focuses on keeping the balance of learning whilst enjoying ourselves in such way that it’s effective in all areas.”
