Rachel and Marcus find their perfect house type at Oak Tree Gardens

Rachel,42, receptionist at Triumph Motorcycles also owned by John Bloor, and design engineer Marcus, 46, purchased a three-bedroom detached house, at the superb Bloor Homes development in Donington le Heath, Leicestershire.
The couple previously lived in the Hinckley area, home to Triumph, just fifteen miles away in a two-bedroom mid terrace townhouse. They decided it was time for a change, with a more convenient location and spacious house.
Rachel, said: “We are absolutely in love with our new home and it is exactly what we’ve always wanted. I have been dreaming of a house with a front door in the middle, and a room either side for as long as I can remember, and Bloor Homes made it a reality.
“Initially we chose Oak Tree Gardens because of the excellent location, being convenient to both our workplaces and the beauty of the area. I am originally from Coalville, so for me to be able to come to where I grew up brings back a lot of memories.
“We reserved our home off-plan meaning we didn’t know what to expect, but Bloor exceeded our expectations with the wonderful quality and stylish contemporary design. The rooms are so spacious and bright and it also makes a real difference now we have a driveway and a garage. We definitely upgraded.”
To make the buying process as easy as possible, Mr and Mrs Scales took advantage of Bloor’s Home Exchange Scheme.
Under the scheme, Bloor offers buyers a suggested asking price for their old home, based on at least two independent valuations from local estate agents, meaning they don’t have to worry about finding a buyer for the property themselves.
Rachel added: “The buying process was extremely smooth and the Bloor team was really good at explaining the Home Exchange scheme. A special mention must go to Alexis and Jayne, who kept us informed the whole time and were very supportive.”
