With a 95% mortgage you could be moving into a new home sooner than you thought. It's available to anyone buying one of our new homes in England, up to a maximum of £500,000.

Under the new programme, developed jointly by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and Council of Mortgage Lenders, 95% percent mortgages will be made available to existing homeowners as well as first-time buyers (FTBs) on new-build properties (houses and flats) worth up to £500,000.

The typical deposit needed to buy a home is 20 per cent; so for a home worth £200,000 buyers using the NewBuy scheme need a deposit of just £10,000 rather than £40,000.

NewBuy Eligibility Criteria:-

Having a full appreciation of the difficulties of buying a new home, our part exchange scheme makes it easier than ever for you to make the move to Bloor Homes, working together to help you move on time, with no stress.

How it works

The company will select at least two local estate agents, and arrange for independent valuations of your property.

We aim to make you a part exchange offer within 48 hours of receipt of the valuation.

If your property is currently on the market, your agent will not necessarily be one of the agents who is asked to prepare valuations unless you have signed a specific contract with that agent, in which case please let us know.

We will take an average of the valuations of your property and make you an offer based on that amount.

If our offer is accepted, you can reserve your new Bloor Home, subject to contract and satisfactory structural survey plus a visit from a Bloor Homes member of staff to view your property.

You must pay a deposit of £750, this covers the increased administration and survey costs.

We will help you to choose a solicitor and provide you with independent financial advice, to ensure that completion of the purchase of your new home is achieved in an agreed timescale.

Once the results of the structural survey are received, we will discuss the report with you, and on the basis that it is satisfactory, you can proceed with your purchase - and leave the rest to us, giving you more time to concentrate on moving to your dream home.

You do not have to worry about purchasers changing their mind and wasted solicitors fees, or agreeing completion dates with a long house chain - it’s just you and Bloor Homes working together to help you move on time, with no stress.

Injured Runner Races On

Pain and Joy at London Marathon...

Newbury Business Analyst David Livings completed the London Marathon in just 3 hours and 46 minutes on Sunday 21st April 2013, despite tearing both calf muscles during the race. 

“I came into a bit of trouble when I tore both of my calf muscles, just after the 14-mile mark,” said Mr Livings. “Luckily, the paramedics were on hand very quickly, and they offered me a lift to the finish – but I decided against it as I was determined to make it on foot. So, the rest of the race was a mixture of jogging and hobbling all the way. It was easily the hardest thing I have ever done.” 25-year-old Mr Livings successfully raised £2,350 for national housing charity HACT thanks to a significant pledge from Bloor Homes, the family-owned developer behind Duke's Manor, coming soon to Headley.

Mr Livings lives close to Bloor Homes' Southern Region office on London Road in Newbury. “My 4-year old daughter watched the whole race with my mum at home. She was over the moon to hear I had won a medal – but she did want to confirm it was a gold medal before she celebrated!” He added, “I've always wanted to run the London Marathon and I'd entered the ballots before, unsuccessfully. This year, HACT offered me a place through my employer, and Bloor Homes pledged over 50% of my funding – so I was absolutely delighted!” Mr Livings’ sister, Emma Livings, is a Sales Negotiator for Bloor Homes and recently helped to launch the developer’s stunning collection of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom homes at Berewood in Waterlooville – Hampshire's brand new garden city.

Bloor Homes at Havant's Rugby Mini Festival...

Bloor Homes, the family-owned developer behind Berewood in Waterlooville and Redlands Grange in Emsworth, sponsored hundreds of trophies and medals in the Havant Rugby Football Club's Annual Mini Festival earlier this year.

Sally Rumbles, Chair of Havant Rugby Football Club's Mini & Junior Section, commented: “Everyone was so grateful to receive their medal of participation, whether or not they won anything. This festival isn't about winning – it's about taking part. And it was all about participation, right to the end.” Established for over 30 years, the popular rugby knockout tournament for U7s-U12s has continued to attract six age groups from across Hampshire, and beyond – with some players travelling from Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Dorset to take part. The sun shone on this year's festival, which attracted around 900 participants and 1800 visitors. “Everyone really enjoyed taking part and there was a great level of competition. We were delighted that the Deputy Mayor of Havant and his wife came to open the festival, and he stayed to present Bloor Homes' trophies to the winners,” said Ms Rumbles.

Gina Mula, whose son plays for the club, helped to organise the event this year. She commented: “Without this generous support from Bloor Homes, we couldn't afford to give a medal or trophy to each participant – just paper certificates!”    Andrea Smale, Field Sales Manager for Bloor Homes explained: “We're always looking for ways to give back to the communities in which we work. That starts with building eco-friendly homes and fantastic community facilities like onsite health centres, allotments, playing fields – and even schools! A dream come true...

The Bloor Homes difference at Berewood

Little did Daniel and Jenna know that when they reserved their brand new Bloor home at our new Waterlooville development in June 2013 that this really would be the home where their dreams would come true.

Moving into their brand new property at Berewood Daniel thought this would be the ideal time to propose, and mark this wonderful occasion.  Daniel explained “For me, our engagement was all about the time and place and our first house together seemed to be the best time to do it.” Their move day of the 27th September 2013 was confirmed and although it would only be 6 days after Jenna would be having open heart surgery, they felt the thought of moving into a lovely brand new home would help her with a speedy recovery.

With the help of the staff from the Bloor sales centre at Berewood, the ring was secretly positioned in their new kitchen with a bottle of champagne and glasses. Once Daniel and Jenna were given the keys, Jenna, recovering well from her surgery, was encouraged to view their lovely new home but to leave the kitchen until last and the rest as they say is history!
Daniel and Jenna had first seen the Waterlooville development in June 2013 and were impressed with the wonderful facilities the area had to offer. Using the new government help to buy scheme they secured a 3 bedroomed semi-detached property with a double garage. The property at the time had not been completely built which allowed them to be involved with choosing their own kitchen, bathroom and carpets. Daniel added ‘Bloor have been completely fantastic, so friendly and helpful. If there have been any issues they have been dealt with immediately. The homes are of a fantastic quality and are an incentive to come and live here’.
