WHERE CAN YOU JOIN US?

We of course have teams dedicated to the planning, design, construction and selling of our homes, but we also need specialists in areas such as health & safety, HR, finance, IT, marketing and administration to provide critical support.

There are a wide range of UK locations where you can join the Bloor Homes family.  We have over 70 new homes developments operating across our North West, Eastern, Midlands, South Midlands, Western, Southern and South West regions.

These developments are managed and supported by regional offices in Tamworth, Northampton, Holmes Chapel, Bury St. Edmunds, Tewkesbury, Newbury and Swindon, with our headquarters based in Measham - where it all began.

AN INDUCTION PROGRAMME

Our induction programme will help you settle in as early as when you first accept our job offer through to the first couple of weeks with the company.  It's an opportunity to get to know about the company, the people who work for us and how things are done.  In addition, within your first 3 months you will attend a centralised induction at our Head Office in Measham.

FOUNDATION TRAINING

This is more specific to your role and will tell you everything you need to know about your job.  We'll show you the finer points of your day-to-day duties, so you know exactly what we need.  It's basically about giving you the tools to do your job.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

We love seeing our people grow and improve, so all our roles have what we call a 'training pathway'.  Of course, this is a very personal thing and through our training pathways and appraisals process we can create a personal development plan which has the best route for you.

APPRENTICESHIPS AND TRAINEES

For school leavers, there's a brilliant future waiting at Bloor Homes.  As well as superior training, you'll enjoy real opportunities for rapid career progression.

LEADERSHIP

Whether you join us as a trainee manager or a senior director, our Leadership Development Programme will give you cutting-edge training whenever you need it.  Through a range of tools including structured programmes, you can learn practical new ways to improve your skills and progress your career.

GREAT REWARDS & BENEFITS

This is where your hard work will get recognised and rewarded.  At Bloor Homes we provide more than a salary, we provide a rewards and benefits package that delivers value to all of our employees.  Information provided here is intended to provide a summary of our offering.  Full details are available on all of the below to prospective and new employees.

BONUS AND COMMISSION
If you work hard then we think you deserve to be rewarded.  So there are opportunities for bonuses or commission.
CORPORATE HEALTH CASH PLAN
Bloor Homes employees can join the BHSF health cash plan through which everyday heathcare costs can be managed by paying a small monthly premium deducted from salary.
PENSION SCHEME
We'll help you look after yours and your family's future with a valuable life assurance and a pension for your retirement.  You pay a portion of your wages into a competitive pension scheme through a salary sacrifice arrangement (benefiting from tax and NI savings) and we'll also contribute.
HOLIDAYS
We give you 33 days of well-earned rest and relaxation (including bank holidays) if you're paid by the month, or 29 days' holiday (including bank holidays) if you're paid weekly.
EXTRA HOLIDAY
Sometimes you need a bit more holiday, especially if you have a big trip planned. So we’ll give you the option of up to an extra three days’ holiday on top of your annual holiday. You simply take these days as unpaid leave, the cost of which is spread across the year so it’s not all taken out of your pay packet at once.
GROUP STAFF DISCOUNT
As our Chairman and founder John Bloor also owns Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, we can give you money off everything from buying a house to buying a motorbike (subject to eligibility criteria).

Competitive discount on our homes (dependent upon the property and location)

Discounted rates on building materials, home items and media packages from our suppliers

25% discount on a Triumph motorbike

50% discount on Triumph merchandise
PRIVATE MEDICAL COVER AND EAP
You may be eligible for private medical cover, either for yourself or for you and your family. It really depends on your role. If you’re only eligible for cover for yourself it is possible to pay a little extra and cover your family as well. No matter what membership type, employees and their families will also have access to an employee assistance programme (EAP) which is a free and confidential counselling and practical support service.
COMPANY CAR
Some positions will come with a fully expensed company car.
